Congratulations to Cédric Bisson on joining Teralys Capital

Yesterday, Cédric Bisson, Partner in charge of iNovia’s Life Sciences investment activities, joined Teralys Capital as a Venture Partner in Healthcare and Life Sciences. Press release.

Cédric was an important member of iNovia’s team having spent the last 8 years as a Partner, where he lead iNovia’s Life Sciences investment activities.  He has had many notable successes along the way including leading the firm’s investment in Resonant Medical a spinout from McGill University that was seed invested by iNovia in 2003 and was acquired by Elekta last year. Cédric’s leadership was crucial to iNovia investments in Milestone Pharmaceuticals, Mimetogen Pharmaceuticals and BaroSense.  In addition, Cédric has played an active role in supporting the Life Sciences ecosystem in Canada and abroad as a member of the boards of BIOQuébec (Québec’s life sciences industry association) and Procure (a non-profit charity against prostate cancer).

While iNovia will continue to manage and support its existing life sciences portfolio companies through its affiliation with MSBi Valorisation and its network of industry specific Venture Partners, iNovia’s next fund will focus exclusively on Information Technology.

iNovia has benefitted tremendously from Cédric’s investment acumen, leadership and comradery. Cédric has found a new challenge at Teralys Capital where he will manage its activities in the healthcare and life sciences sector.

We are very excited for Cédric and we wish him great success in his new role. Thank you Cédric for your commitment and for sharing your passion and insights with us.

Onwards, upwards!
